The Aircast CryoCuff Cooler combines focal compression with cold to provide optimal control of swelling, oedema, haematoma, haemarthrosis, and pain. Simplicity of design and ease of operation makes it ideal for the emergency room, post-op, training room and home. The Cryo/Cuff is both simple and effective consisiting of only two basic parts: cooler and cuf. The cooler is filled with tap water and ice, the cuff is applied and connected to the cooler, and the cooler is lifted above the cuff.

Soothing cold water envelopes the affected area, reducing swelling and providing relief from pain. The cooler may be detached from the cuf at any time during treatment without interruption of cryotherapy. Studies have shown that with the use of the Cryo/Cuff, patients require less analgesics and have a faster return to function. In addition, because the cold and compression are controlled, there is no known risk of frost bite.

11A01SC: Aircast Knee Cryocuff - SELF CONTAINED

The Aircast Knee Cryocuff SELF CONTAINED is unique in the Cryo/Cuff line, the Knee Cryo/Cuff SC is totally self-contained- the cuff is filled directly with water and ice eliminating the need for a cooler. To ensure the optimal amount of compression, a hand bulb is included to measure pressure after application. The cuff remains cold for about one hour.

Please note that this cuff does not require or support the Cryocuff Cooler Unit.
