The cooler may be detached from the cuf at any time during treatment without interruption of cryotherapy. Studies have shown that with the use of the Cryo/Cuff, patients require less analgesics and have a faster return to function. In addition, because the cold and compression are controlled, there is no known risk of frost bite.
